This virtual discussion seminar focused on how trade-related policies and measures can support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the delivery of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The event featured speakers from TRADEHub, the United Nations Environment Programme, the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the Global Environment Facility sharing their perspectives and experiences, and provided an opportunity for participants to discuss how to strengthen cooperation around trade to support the implementation of global biodiversity objectives. The seminar built on and was provided in the context of UKRI GCRF Trade, Development and the Environment Hub (TRADEHub).
