The GEF CEO Naoko Ishii is attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and will discuss the GEF’s approach to global environmental challenges with world leaders.
This Friday evening on January 24, Naoko Ishii will participate in the Climate Change and Sustainability event at the World Economic Forum to take stock of the public-private collaborations discussed during the day that are expected to provide a significant contribution to emissions reduction and enhanced economic resilience. The question at stake is: What are the next steps to make these real? Business and civil society leaders, government representatives, international officials and expert participants to the climate change sessions will share outcomes and discuss the leadership agenda for 2014. Ishii will present the GEF’s narrative for the new climate economy.
