To create an enabling environment for an integrated landscape approach in support of SLM and LDN implementation in The Gambia

To create new sustainable seaweed value chains that will deliver ecosystem services and provide socioeconomic benefits

1. The project objective is to mainstream biodiversity in rural landscapes by implementing sustainable policies and practices in the agriculture sector in six rural landscapes in Mexico: 1) Northwestern, state of Sonora; 2) North Pacific, states of Jalisco and Nayarit; 3) Northeastern, states of San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas, and Nuevo Leon; 4) Central, Mexico City, State of Mexico, and Morelos; 5) South Pacific, states of Guerrero and Oaxaca; and 6) Southeastern, states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz.

Project Objective: To build capacity and solutions that ensure the long-term survival of climate refuge coral reef ecosystems, thereby conserving their biodiversity and supporting the blue economies and communities dependent on them.

The project’s Objective is to mainstream biodiversity conservation and green recovery in the tourism sector to maintain ecosystem health and the environmental goods and services provided by the Seaflower MPA.

To achieve biodiversity conservation and land degradation neutrality in the Southern Highlands and Hela Provinces of Papua New Guinea through integrated landscape management and natural capital assessment

To improve the conservation of Alliance for Zero Extinction (AZE) sites.

Facilitate the early implementation of the Minamata Convention through the use of scientific and technical knowledge and tools by national stakeholders in Tuvalu

To improve management of target conservation area landscapes and enhance the living conditions of communities in and around these conservation areas.

The project seeks to strengthen institutional, infrastructural, human & regulatory biosafety capacities of the Governments of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Madagascar and Namibia in the implementation of NBFs in support of the CPB and (its) Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability & Redress.
