Development, Empowerment and Conservation in the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park and Surrounding Region
The project development objective (PDO) is to improve access to information needed to select the best feasible option for maintaining the availability of fresh water of adequate quality to the Lake St Lucia System , a wetland of global biodiversity importance, and to increase access among local communities to conservation compatible economic opportunities.
This PDO will contribute to a long term goal of improving the ecosystem functioning of the Lake St Lucia System to conserve wetland habitats of global importance.

Chiller Energy Efficiency Project
The project will provide asssistance to stimulate accelerated conversion of CFC-based, and other energy inefficient chillers to new and more energy efficient technology through the provision of financial incentives and a robust policy framework thereby addressing well-documented techno-economic barriers and overcoming market barriers to improved energy efficiency. National capacity for carbon finance intermediation will be built through the project to enable a permanent transformation of the chiller market.
SPWA-CC: Nigeria Urban Transport
To improve the capacity to manage the transport sector in the Lagos and Kano metropolitan areas and to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the public transport network in Lagos. The project will result in GHG emissions avoidance through a shift to more environmentally sustainable urban transport modes.
