The goal of the proposed project is to secure the effective conservation and sustainable use of the biodiversity in the mountainous forest ecosystems of Huangshan Municipality. The project 's specific objective is to evaluate, adapt and implement relevant "best practices" derived from the successful management of Huangshan National Scenic Reserve to strengthen and upgrade the existing municipal system of PAs.

Enabling activities to facilitate early action on the implementation of the Stockholm Convention on POPs

Enabling Activity - resubmission
The overall objective of the proposed Enabling Activities (EA) is to strengthen national capacity and capability to formualte a National Implementation Plan (NIP) for the Stockholm Convention and assist the country to endorse and submit it to the Convention Secretariat.
