This project seeks to update the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan and prepare the fifth national biodiversity report as per Trinidad and Tobago’s obligations as Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).

The Expected Outputs are:
1) the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP), and
2) the fifth national biodiversity report.

To assist Bangladesh in the preparation of its Third National Communication (TNC) for the implementation of the obligations under the United Nation Framework Convention for Climate Change.

To improve rural communities’ livelihoods and means to combat poverty through managed water investments and adaptative activities for pastoral and forest resources in the southern Wilayas of Mauritania

Objective: To develop National Adaptation Plan of Action (NAPA) for Equatorial Guinea following a participatory process to address the most immediate climate related risks.

Enhance women producer group’s adaptive capacities to secure livelihoods production from climate impacts and increase socio-economic resilience in Malian vulnerable communes (Kayes, Koulikoro and Sikasso).

Increased capacity of Rwandan authorities and local communities to adapt to climate change by implementing Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) interventions in forests, savannas and wetlands

This project will establish a Pacific Island Country (PIC) network of national and regional databases for monitoring, evaluating, and analyzing environmental information to support environmental planning, forecasting, and reporting requirements at all levels.

To develop Somalia s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and the fifth national report to the CBD in order for the country to meet its obligations under the CBD.

To strengthen institutional capacity for the implementation and monitoring of international conventions as a follow-up to the National Capacity Self Assessment (NCSA) of St. Lucia and to better integrate environmental concerns, and the value of ecosystems, into its broader development frameworks

The objective of the Project is to promote battery-electric, large-capacity vehicles for mass transit in Colombia by means of removing technology, regulatory, awareness and financial barriers, as a measure to reduce GHG emissions and improve local air-quality.
