Sustainable Use of Biogas from Agro Industrial and Solid Waste Applications
The general objective of this project is to promote GHG emissions reduction by generation and efficient use of biogas from livestock manure, agro-industrial residual biomass and mitigation of soil and water pollution. Several biogas uses will be explored such as electric power generation, combined heat applications and substitute for fuel for transportation.
Global Foundations For Reducing Nutrient Enrichment and ODFLB Pollution in Support of GNC
Global Foundations for reducing nutrient enrichment and oxygen depletion form land based pollution in support of global nutrient cycle
Sustainable Urban Transport in Chiang Mai
The main project development objective is to improve the technical capacity of CMM for sustainable urban transport development, through technical support on integrated land use and sustainable urban transport planning and pilot demonstration of NMT improvement. This is expected to lead to increased role of more effective and less energy-intensive forms of urban travel including an improved public transport system and NMT (walking, bicycles, bicycle taxis), which will in turn result in long-term reduction of vehicular greenhouse gas emissions.
Sustainable Production Systems and Biodiversity Project
To conserve and protect nationally and globally significant biodiversity in Mexico through mainstreaming biodiversity-friendly management practices in productive landscapes in priority biological corridors.
Support to the Global Tiger Summit Hosted by the Russian Federation
Provide support for the Global Tiger Summit hosted by the Russian Federation to bring together Heads of Governments in order to endorse and launch the Global Tiger Recovery Program.
