Climate Adaptation Regional Programming and Strategy Workshop for Asian Least Developed Countries

Hosted by the government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the GEF Secretariat held this workshop with participants from five Asian Least Developed Countries (LDCs). In addition to the Kingdom of Cambodia, they included Bangladesh, Bhutan, Lao PDR, and Nepal. Invited participants from each country included GEF operational focal points, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) national focal points, climate adaptation experts from various government ministries and national institutions, in addition to civil society organization representatives.

The Africa Minigrids Program

The Africa Minigrids Program (“AMP”) is a country-led technical assistance program for minigrids, active in an initial 21 African countries. AMP is expressly targeting early-stage minigrid markets, seeking to establish the enabling environment for subsequent private investment at scale.
