The project's objective is to build capacity in existing cleaner production institutions to apply the UNIDO test procedure. The project will demonstrate ways to reduce pollution while remaining financially viable. The project includes the transfer of this technology to 20 pilot enterprises that are contributing to transboundary pollution, primarily nuterients, in the Danube River basin and Black Sea.
