to reduce Burkina Faso’s energy-related CO2 emissions by substituting fossil fuels (kerosene and diesel) with solar power to provide electricity services for water pumping together with other attendant basic productive energy services to the targeted rural community users. The project will improve people’s livelihoods by promoting the use of renewable energy (solar PV) to provide potable drinking water and basic electricity services to the rural area, thus reducing the country’s dependency on imported fossil fuels (kerosene, diesel).

The development objective of the proposed Albania Natural Resources Development Project (NRDP) is to establish or maintain sustainable, community-based natural resource management in about 210 communes in upland and mountainous erosion-prone lands.
