The project objective is the reduction in the annual growth rate of GHG emissions from the buildings sector in Mongolia, by improving the energy utilization efficiency in new construction in the residential and commercial buildings sector.

The overall objective of the proposed MSP will be to assist Vietnam to plan and strategise with regards to compliance with its obligations under Art. 5 of the Stockholm Convention on POPs concerning the reduction of releases of un-intentional POPs from the industrial sector and other processes.
