Project Objective: To promote SLM and good water governance by addressing institutional constraints to equitable local development, informing legal reform processes in land rights while promoting alliances among stakeholders to rally behind and defend their shared interests. Project interventions will occur at two complementary scales: (i) local in the Toker area of East Sudan/Red Sea State for component 2 and (ii) national/federal level for components 1 and 3.

A second GEO is to develop a framework for integrated and sustainable management of Lake Nasser/Nubia Sub-basin.
